Over The Top
by Jonathan Van Ness

This book is mostly depressing. I liked reading what his audition was like for Queer Eye.

Komi Can't Communicate, Vol 1
by Tomohito Oda

It's funny! I can't help smiling when Komi tries to say "Yes" but ends up saying "Sss" like a bomb.

Minecraft Wither Without You

I like the Minecraft gameplay references, like "Why have I been carrying an oak sapling around?" and "I forgot a bed. Anyone have 3 wool?" The art style is cute and funny too.

We Unleash The Merciless Storm

Carmen's perspective was more boring than Dani's, and that was the entire book. This book had more action than the first, but the villain was stupid. It dragged on for too long at the beginning, her decision to save her girlfriend or stay with her family. Obviously save your girlfriend! Which would make for a better book!? I still liked the book, but wouldn't recommend it.

Channel Kindness
by Born This Way Foundation Reporters, Lady Gaga

This book is mostly how people started non-profit organizations, which is lovely, but I would prefer if it was more achievable acts of kindness I could do too. The design/layout of the pages is neat. I like how they are all unique.

Anxious People
by Fredrik Backman

This book tries to be witty... all the time. Most of the time it's funny, but sometimes it goes over my head. I really like the realistic characters and how all their story lines wrap up in the end.

Karamo: My Story of Embracing Purpose, Healing, and Hope
by Karamo Brown

I enjoyed it for the most part. The chapters were ordered a little strangely to me, since one was about his experience with drugs

Komi Can't Communicate, Vol. 3

It's fun to watch Komi and Tadano's relationship grow!

The Golden Compass
by Philip Pullman

It took me until I was halfway done the book to be into it. I like how Lyra is a good liar, it's fun to read how she gets out of situations by lying! I also like how Lyra is a young kid, I usually read books about teens.

You're In The Wrong Bathroom
by Laura Erickson-Schroth and Laura A. Jacobs

The chapters were summed up by their titles, and they got long. It did help me understand trans people a little better.
